A wyrm welcome

Bookwyrm is the one tool I always wished existed for everything around the D&D table - as a player, a DM, and a creator.

Admin

Bookwyrm is built by a D&D player, DM, and content creator - me. It's the toolset I always wished existed for everything around the table, all in one place.

As someone in the D&D space, I might reach for a dozen different tools in a given week depending on what I'm doing. Bookwyrm lets me do all of it in one place, in a way that's streamlined and consistent.

Here's what that means, depending on how you play.

As a player

  • I keep my character sheet here - adding to it, levelling up, and rolling straight from it.

  • When I hit a choice, I get suggestions for what actually fits my character: which feats, magic items, or spells make a good build, without having to min-max every last detail myself.

  • I can look up a rule, or see how a number is calculated, at a glance.

  • I get more control at the table - my own mounts, summons, and damage are mine to manage, which takes pressure off the DM.

As a DM

  • I have rules, notes, and stat blocks all open at once, and reach any of them on a whim.

  • I have an assistant that actually knows my campaign - not a generic chatbot, but something that reads my notes, knows the rules, and cites real sources instead of making things up.

  • I have hundreds of homebrew compendiums to draw from, not just the official books.

  • I have maps, sounds, and more at my fingertips, so prep takes minutes instead of evenings.

As a content creator

  • I have real tools for making my best work - a proper authoring experience for creatures, spells, items, and audio, instead of fighting a word processor.

  • As a map maker, I can upload the original map file and let Bookwyrm sort out the rest - the grid, VTT integration, print versions - for whoever wants to use it.

  • When my work is ready, I can sell it. The marketplace is built in, so what I make reaches the players and DMs who'd actually use it.

Give it a go

If any of this sounds like your kind of thing, sign up and try it out. And if you use a tool Bookwyrm doesn't cover yet - or something you reckon we could streamline further - get in touch. I'd genuinely love to hear about it.
