CS0 Character sheets

Build with the 2014 or 2024 rules, see where every number came from, and carry the same character from a standalone sheet into the campaign and tabletop.

CS1 Build and play

A builder that becomes the sheet.

The decisions made during creation stay attached to the character instead of disappearing into a final set of numbers. Pick a score, a skill or an attack and roll it.

A guided path, not a locked path
Move through ancestry, class, abilities, equipment and spells with context for each choice, then override values when the table rules differently.
Every number has a source
Automatic calculations stay inspectable, so bonuses and resources do not become unexplained totals.
Made for the turn you are taking
Actions, spells, conditions, inventory and resources stay rollable and close at hand during play.
Portable when the table changes
Share a read-only sheet or print it instead of making continued access depend on one live campaign.

Character sheet feature comparison
Capability Bookwyrm D&D Beyond Demiplane Roll20 DiceCloud
Guided 5e character builder The official D&D sheets use Charactermancer; available choices depend on owned content.
2014 and 2024 rules D&D NEXUS has 2014 and 2024 readers; D&D character building is handled through Roll20. Users can model either ruleset, but DiceCloud does not provide a comparable guided rules catalogue.
Guided level-up and multiclassing Charactermancer level-up is available on the official D&D sheets; options depend on owned content.
Automatic stat calculations
Explain where a value came from Rules text is available, but calculated totals are not always broken down into every contributing effect. Depends on how the sheet was authored.
Homebrew species, feats and subclasses Manual sheet fields and custom sheets allow workarounds; the standard D&D builder does not offer a full homebrew catalogue.
Create a custom base class Possible through custom sheet development rather than the standard builder.
Roll directly from the sheet
Use the character in a VTT D&D NEXUS content links to Roll20; D&D characters are built and played in Roll20, not a Demiplane VTT. Available through integrations such as Avrae rather than a DiceCloud tabletop.
Print or export the sheet Sharing is native; printable output commonly relies on community tooling.
