A glassy black cryptex of six rune rings that hums faintly under moonlight.
Volcanic glass, polished until it drinks the lamplight. Six rings bear angular runes, and a thin violet light seems to move beneath the surface whenever nobody is looking directly at it.
The runes flicker as your shadow falls across them.
